Mahmut GÜRCAN    
Deputy Minister of Trade
 

Mahmut GÜRCAN was born in 1966 in İstanbul. He was graduated from Marmara University Economics and Administrative Sciences Faculty in 1988 after completing his education in Zeytinburnu İmam Hatip Secondary School (School of Islamic Divinity) in 1980 and Şehremini High School in 1983.
Mahmut GÜRCAN launched his career in the family business with eyeglass manufacturing activities and the family business he founded and working under the eyewear and textile sector has been continuing it’s business since 1990.
He went into politics in 1992 and since 2002, he has been taken charge in AK Parti.
He was appointed as Deputy Minister of Treasury and Finance and remained at this position until 22 June 2023. Since then, he has been serving as Deputy Minister of Trade. Mahmut GÜRCAN is married with three children.
